We delivered 110 teddy bears to Holy Name Medical Center, Teaneck, NJ. Thanks to the big help of my brother Cesar Michael and our friend Cristina Latino.
Today was a happy occasion because we were able to deliver teddy bears for sick children at Holy Name Medical Center. We hope their children will enjoy and hug a teddy bear friend. We hope they will get better soon and come back home. Thanks to all my family and friends that have donated a cute teddy bear to support my cause as well as my schoolmates at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus School, Wallington, NJ for donating bears.
Lastly, thanks to my family that have always supported me do my project “Cecilia’s Project for hope.” I know it takes time and so much effort but it pays off knowing that our sick children will have a smile when they receive a friendly teddy bear.
Thanks to Lisa Futterman, Development Officer, and Celeste A. Oranchak, Vice President of Development at the Holy Name Medical Center Foundation for being able to receive the bears. Thanks to Jeff Rhode for providing some of the pictures.
Thanks also to Cristina Latino, our friend. She attends Saint Mary High School, Rutherford, NJ, with my brother Cesar Michael. Cristina has always helped us. Thanks to my brother Cesar Michael for helping with my project as well. He is a big help.
Our next teddy bear delivery will be at the Children’s National, Washington, DC this coming July, 2014.
